The official Elden Ring page on the Xbox store has provided details on the download weight of the highly anticipated FromSoftware game
Elden Ring is still more than three months after its launch (due to the recent postponement), but despite this, unlike the past months, in recent times there has been a constant stream of new updates on the highly anticipated FromSoftware title, with new details and information released at a fairly regular rate, well, the latest news relate to the weight of the download. In fact, we recently discovered how much storage space (approximately) will be needed to install the game on Microsoft’s home consoles. Elden Ring: the weight of the download falls within the average of many other similar titles (but still sets a new “record” for a FromSoftware game)
The page of Elden Ring on the Xbox Store has recently been updated and, according to the same, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One players will be required approximately 50 GB of storage space for FromSoftware’s next RPG and, therefore, the weight of the download it should be around these numbers. This is a figure that falls within the average of current titles, nothing “amazing” then. Although FromSoftware’s past games tended to be significantly smaller, as Elden Ring will be a title open world to all intents and purposes, this “leap” is certainly not a surprise.
Recently, Bandai Namco also revealed full spec details for the game across all platforms, confirming 4K, 60 FPS, and ray tracing support for gaming on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. In recent days, moreover , various official information on the Collector’s Edition of the game which, as expected, will be very rich and will include a splendid action figure. We remind you that Elden Ring will be launched on February 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. A closed beta test of the game will begin on 12 november.
