It’s now official, Elon Musk’s story will soon be made into a film. The director takes care of it Darren Aronofskywhile the production house A24 (the same company behind the Oscar-winning film Everything Everywere All At Once) will produce the film. The news, reported by Variery, immediately went around the world. Here’s what we know.
Plot and cast | Elon Musk: a biopic dedicated to him is coming
Obviously it is still early to talk about the plot, but we know that the new biopic will be based on the book by Walter Isaacsonan authorized biography, entitled Elon Musk, published in September 2023 and published by Mondadori. In this volume Isaacson retraces the salient stages of the entrepreneur’s life: from a difficult youth, forced to fight against bullying, to the peak of his career. All enriched with testimonies from family, friends, colleagues, rivals and, obviously, Musk himself. We can say with certainty that we will be spoiled for choice in deciding what to transpose onto the screen, given that the events that have characterized the life of the South African entrepreneur are so many. Nothing certain however regarding the cast. The actor who will play Elon Musk has not yet been announcedalthough the hypotheses are numerous at this time.
Not the first biopic
Author Walter Isaacson is no stranger to film adaptations of his biographies. In fact, before Musk it was the turn of the book, dedicated to Steve Jobs, used as the basis for the film of the same name, released in 2015 and directed by Danny Boyle.
