The Epic Games Store, as always, continues with the work and announces today the free game that we can download from May 13
The next free game its Epic Games Store was revealed. It’s a matter of The Lion’s Song, developed and published Mi’pu’mi Games. Currently, the free game is Pine, “An open-world action adventure game set in a simulated world where humans have never reached the top of the food chain.” Pine is free on the Epic Games Store until May 13 (we already talked about it in this other article), after which The Lion’s Song will replace it. The Lion’s Song, the new free game dell’Epic Games Store, is an interesting title of narrative adventure. The setting is imbued with the atmospheres of the beginning of 20th century and the plot is based on the events of a group of artists e Austrian scientists with each episode taking a closer look at their intimate struggles with creativity and inspiration.
Each episode of The Lion’s Song will follow a different character. The supporting actors include “a talented composer suffering from writer’s block before his breakthrough concert, an emerging painter who grows through the various challenges he poses, and a brilliant mathematician trying to make his voice heard in a world of men” . Among the most interesting points of the production we are talking about, as well as the narrative aspects, there is also the use of pixel-art which combined with the retro atmosphere contributes to providing the title with a decidedly peculiar and “oxymoronic” look.
