On Instagram you can share your personalized presentation of 2021 on Stories, with a kind of time capsule called “PlayBack“. This function takes information from thearchive of stories: you can select them up to 10 to share with your followers. But to take advantage of this feature you must have shared at least three stories and have enabled the archive. The platform will suggest some options but you can choose your favorites.
For Facebook instead you can share the summary on your wall, also in this case by choosing from the options presented by the app.
Similar functions (for example Spotify Wrapped) have been very successful, a symptom of the fact that these “vintage summaries” are very popular with users. In the past, some Instagram users have created their own collections, while this year they will be helped by the platform.
