Far Cry 6 is one of the titles Ubisoft most awaited by fans of the series and just a few minutes ago we had the opportunity to observe for the first time a long video of gameplay. For the occasion, the company has set up a small one live streaming event, but apparently they didn’t just show us the game in action. In fact, at the end of the Far Cry 6 gameplay reveal, Ubisoft has also suddenly revealed the release date of the game.
Far Cry 6’s release is much closer than expected
It has been a long time since the announcement of the sixth chapter of Far Cry and, considering the long silence of Ubisoft, many fans feared that the game would not be released before 2022. Apparently, however, the release date of Far Cry 6 is much closer than originally thought. Ubisoft has indeed revealed that the game will be available worldwide from 7 October 2021, that is, in less than 5 months.

For the occasion, the company has also published a short trailer related to the story of the game. In the video it is explained the current political situation in Yara, the beautiful Caribbean island where the game is set, and is also being introduced for the first time Dani Rojas, the main character of the story. Dani is freely customizable and the players both sex and physical appearance will be able to decide.
Far Cry 6 will be available from 7 October for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S..
