The last day of February is finally here, and we all already know what that means: he’s here. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is finally available as a temporary exclusive on PlayStation 5, ready to be played and experienced by anyone who has already experienced the journey of Final Fantasy 7 Remake way back in 2020. We were in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic when, after a couple of weeks that masterpiece of Persona 5 Royal arrived on the market (here is our full review!) and precisely the aforementioned Remake of a title that made the history of the genre, or rather, the history of video games. Among the many controversies due to the change of narrative direction decided by Square Enix and an excellent game quality, Remake has started a new trilogy that retells the adventures of Cloud, Tifa, Barret and company. And Rebirth is the direct sequel.

On the occasion of the launch, Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which you can find right above. Excited? We very, yes, have already spoken to you emphatically about the title in a preview dedicated to it and resulting from the demo released on the PlayStation Store some time ago (you can find it here). Rebirth seems to have a much larger world than that very long and wonderful corridor that was Final Fantasy 7 Remake (we told you about it in a review, you can find it here!), as well as several updates and improvements to a gameplay that had already won us over with the its first iteration. And which we know very well will almost certainly be the path that the main chapters of the franchise will take, abandoning, almost certainly, the powerful, completely action-oriented “drift” of Final Fantasy 16 (here is our review!).
