Today, Square Enix published the long-awaited update that unlocks the second part of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo: ready to explore the new Junon?
After having tested the initial chapter about ten days ago and having talked about it in a first dedicated preview, which you can find by clicking here, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is back in the spotlight before the launch scheduled for February 29th. Square Enix has in fact released, today, a free update for the demo available on the PlayStation Store entitled “A new era in Junon”, which offers an even broader preview of the vast world we will be called upon to explore. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: the second part of the demo takes us to Junon
This new section of the free trial version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth catapults Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith and Red XIII into the outskirts of Junon, a fortress city with an underwater reactor. In this demo, set a few hours after the start of the main story, we will be able to:
- Freely explore a small segment of the enormous game world
- Ride our faithful chocobo in search of hidden treasures
- Craft valuable items with the new transmuter
- Take on brave hunting missions and test our skills
By downloading the two parts of the demo, “The Great Hero in Nibelheim” and “A New Age in Junon”, you can get fantastic bonuses for the full game:
- By completing the first part you will have access to the moogle lucky charm and the complete set for the adventure. You can also skip this section at the beginning of the full game, starting directly from Junon
- The saves from the second part of the demo will not be transferable to the full game, but will allow you to try new synergistic attacks and deepen the relationships between the characters during fights
