Final Fantasy XVI: release date set for next summer?
The last few days and the last hours have been very delicate for Square Enix which has seen itself crossed by a tornado of leaks and indiscretions relating to the next title in the Final Fantasy saga. There Final Fantasy XVI release date may have been revealed by a recent tweet from The Snitch; well-known videogame leaker. The twitter in question could suggest an exit during next summer. But let’s go into a little more detail:

This tweet enough cryptic however, it presents some interpretations and those that have been considered by fans and all insiders as real clues. First of all that “twenty two grains of sand” which obviously refers to the 22 and gods sand grains and that “six nations divided” which, in turn, indicates the number of some divided nationsi.e. the number 6. The “crystal” mentioned would be a clear reference to the sixteenth chapter of the series. By solving this rebus the result would be 22/06. We look forward to further news related to Final Fantasy XVI, of which we will know more at the next The Game Awards, in all likelihood.
