Foe – The Enemy is a dystopian thriller set in a future where i climate changes they weigh like a looming threat of some sort apocalypse. The director is Garth Davis, while the protagonists are Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal, in the roles of Hen and Junior. The couple is faced with a choice to make, a dilemma to find an answer to. Filming took place primarily in Victoria, Australia. The official plot is as follows:
Hen and Junior farm an isolated piece of land that has been in Junior’s family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when a stranger (Aaron Pierre) shows up on their doorstep with a surprising proposition. Are they willing to risk their relationship, and perhaps their personal identity, for a chance to continue surviving in a new world?

Writer John Reidauthor of the novel of the same name on which the dystopian thriller is based, talks about the film and the producer Kerry Kohansky-Roberts:
I talked to other people who focused on suspense and mystery. But Kerry told me about Henrietta’s story from the beginning. In fact, Hen was the character I thought about the most while writing the novel. I come from a rural area of Canada where it is still common to maintain gender dynamics that seem antiquated and, therefore, I have met many people like her.
