Ford Pro introduced the new ones Ranger Wildtrak X e Ranger Tremor. These are two exciting versions designed for off-road driving, which add to the most complete range of the best-selling pickup in Europe and in Italy ever.
The new Ranger Wildtrak X and Ranger Tremor for off-road driving
Both models are aimed at customers who want more agility for face the most demanding off-road conditions. They feature a significantly revised chassis with unique suspension upgrades. Among them are the advanced Bilstein shock absorbers as standard.
The two new versions feature rugged styling that reflects their ability to handle the toughest conditions. It is combined with sophisticated driving assistance systems, designed for off-road use and to increase performance safety on board.
Ranger Wildtrak X and Tremor offer the optional Flexible Rack System, unique in the segment, to maximize the load capacity of longer objects. The easy-to-use system will also be available as an option for Ranger Limited and Wildtrak.
Ranger Wildtrak X
Il Ranger Wildtrak X is based on the Wildtrak model. From here which differs in a 26 mm increase in ground clearance and a 30 mm wider track, to ensure a more confident step on rough terrain. The high performance shock absorbers Bilstein they come as standard and are position sensitive. They provide the right damping force all along the way to improve off-road capabilities, without compromising on-road performance. The power steering system enhanced for the most difficult jobs and the steel protection plate guarantee greater off-road safety.
New off-road technologies as standard include the Trail Turn Assist. This technology uses brake-based torque vectoring to reduce the turning radius by up to 25% when cornering is needed. Trail Control works similar to cruise control. The driver can select a speed below 32 km/h and the vehicle will automatically manage acceleration and braking to maintain the selected speed. This gives the driver the opportunity to concentrate on steering when in difficult terrain conditions.
Il EcoBlue bi-turbo diesel engine Ford’s 2.0-litre engine powers all Wildtrak X models. It produces 500Nm of torque from 1,750rpm and an output of 205PS mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Combined with the auxiliary lights in the grille, the matrix headlights of LED, available as an option, ensure optimal visibility. Distinctive Wildtrak X badging, darkened Ford ovals and 17-inch black alloy wheels with white all-terrain tires complete the extreme off-road styling.
Inside, occupants benefit from suede-trimmed bench seats Miko with exclusive Wildtrak X embroidery. They are wrapped in soft-touch Terra suede with contrasting Cyber Orange stitching on the upper facia, door trim and center console. Standard built-in connectivity with FordPass and Ford Pro services like FORDLiive enhance the ownership experience.
Ranger Tremor
The new Ranger Tremor It builds on the rugged Ranger XLT and shares its chassis and technology updates, as well as the new all-wheel drive system from the Wildtrak X, to cater to customers who want improved off-road agility.
The new suspension geometry helps create a more robust and well-grounded ride, enhanced by the wider track and extended fender mouldings. The distinctive sports bar comes as standard and defines the Ranger Tremor’s adventurous look, while cast aluminum side steps and dual exposed front tow hooks further accentuate its functional good looks. The exclusive exterior details Boulder Grey and darkened grille complete the bold and distinctive look of this version.
The seats and floor of the Ranger Tremor feature vinyl trim water resistant and easy to clean. An optional pre-wired switch package at the front of the vehicle offers six inputs for winches, LED light bars and other equipment, which can be ordered from Ford Partners or via the Ford Online Shop.
