  • At least 40% of the energy used within a race will be produced by regenerative braking during the race.
  • It is the first Formula E car with both front and rear engines: a new front powertrain adds 250 kW to the 350 kW rear, more than doubling the regenerative capacity of the current Gen2 to a total of 600 kW
  • The Gen3 is the first Formula E racing car that will not have rear hydraulic brakes due to the addition of the front powertrain and its regenerative capability
  • It has an electric motor that delivers up to 350 kW of power (470 hp), capable of reaching a maximum speed at 320 km/h with a power-to-weight ratio twice as efficient as a 470 hp equivalent internal combustion engine (ICE).
  • Lighter and smaller than the Gen2 to allow for faster and more agile wheel-to-wheel travel.
