We return to talk about Forspoken, a new work by Square Enix that has recently revealed new technical details on 4K and Ray Tracing
From the latest videos of Forspoken shown during The Game Awards 2021, the game is technically promising, triggering the curiosity of fans about how it will turn in 4K using Ray Tracing. As a game that will be released as an exclusive for PS5 consoles, Square Enix’s next open world action RPG will have to live up to expectations, especially in the graphics and technical sector.
Several modes for Forspoken’s 4K and Ray Tracing
Speaking with Ungeek, creative producer Raio Mitsuno confirmed that Forspoken will have three separate modes on PS5 to make the most of 4K and Ray Tracing. There will be one Performance mode, which will work a 1440p e 60 FPS, it’s a graphics mode, which will work a 4K e 30 FPS. There will also be one Ray Tracing mode, even if you still don’t know what the performance and resolution will be.
Meanwhile, Game Director Takeshi Aramaki also confirmed that iThe game will take advantage of the unique features of DualSense, with adaptive triggers tuned to react to different magical attacks in different ways.
We have really included a lot of PlayStation 5 unique hardware features when developing this game. For example, using adaptive triggers, we have added haptic feedback when using the different types of magic. We have many different magical spells that you can use in the game, in fact the various designers have focused on this and worked on how to differentiate the feedback you receive from the controller for each of the spells.
