Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 2 will officially end next week, via an in-game event called The End
As anticipated a few days ago, the official end of Fortnite Chapter 2 is now upon us, given that, as confirmed directly by Epic Games, everything will be definitively concluded over the next week. The closing of this season of the famous game will take place by means of a event to be held directly in-game, and which will respond to the name of The End. It will be something unique, which will see players join forces to challenge The Cube Queen, and what is at stake will be the fate of the island itself.
Fortnite Chapter 2: expected end for next week
The final event of the Chapter in question of the title Epic Games, will have the go Saturday 4th December, at 10pm local, and will allow players to form parts of up to 16 players, with the special playlist that will be available 30 minutes before the start of The End.
It is a unique event in the history of the game, to the point that Epic herself advised streamers and content creators to save their performances locally, since everything will not be replicable in any way later.
“Content creators and players who wish to keep the final moments of Fortnite Chapter 2 will need to record and archive their experiences, as replays will not be available. Players will not be able to change their settings once The End has started, so we recommend that everyone adjust the visual options before the game starts. Since the Season ends one day early, everyone who logs in before the Season ends will be rewarded with 225,000 XP. “
The second Chapter of the Epic Game title began in October 2019, after the initial battle royale map was engulfed by a black hole, all at the end of Season X.
