Welcome back once again to our monthly column dedicated to video games available for free. Every month, thanks to some subscription services and company initiatives, so many titles are given away.
With all these free video games however there is always a risk of not being able to redeem someone in time. For this reason we have decided to write this article, in which we will tell you about the many free games offered in December by the various monthly subscription services and more.

Many of the games we will talk about in this article will be available throughout December, but others will only during a certain period. For this reason, we recommend that you redeem the titles that interest you as soon as possible, so as to avoid unpleasant situations.
Also we remind you once again that to download most of the free games we will tell you about you will need to have the right subscription. Fortunately, however, many of these services have a free trial period which in some cases you can use to redeem the games that interest you.
PlayStation Plus – The free games of December 2020
As always, we start our list with the Playstation plus, the subscription service of Sony. As you know by now, the PlayStation Plus offers many advantages, such as the ability to play online on PS4 and to load saves in the cloud, but it also allows you to redeem three free titles per month. Here are the games available now with the service:
- Just Cause 4
- Rocket Arena
- Worms Rumble (PS5)
PS4 owners will be able to enjoy two truly adrenaline-pumping titles this month: Just Cause 4 e Rocket Arena. The first is a frenzied one action-adventure in which you will have to fight against the forces of the Solìs island unleashing chaos and destruction, the second one is a fun one third person arena shooter. If you own a PlayStation 5, then you can try Worms Rumble, a new Worms that it departs a lot from the classic gameplay of the series.
Xbox Live Gold – December 2020 Free Games
Now touch all’Xbox Live Gold, the counterpart Microsoft of the PlayStation Plus. The free games we are going to tell you about are part of the program Games with Gold and are updated on a monthly basis. Be careful though, because some of these titles will be available only for some platforms and during specific periods. Here is the list of Games with Gold flanked by the platform and the period in which they will be available:
- Saints Row Gat out of Hell (December 1st to 15th for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Xbox Series X | S)
- The Raven Remastered (December 1st to December 31st for Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S)

Also this month unfortunately the Gold it does not offer particularly important titles. In the pile, however, some really not bad games stand out Stacking, a particular puzzle game where you play the role of a Russian matryoshka, e Saints Row Gat out of Hell, a hellish spin-off of the well-known series Saints Row.
Xbox Game Pass – December 2020 Free Games
Let’s stay at Microsoft for a while to talk dell’Xbox Game Pass. At the moment the stock of titles of the service is very large and, on a monthly basis, is enriched with new games. Usually several quality titles arrive every month, but this time the company has really outdone itself! Here is the list of new free games added to the service in December alongside the platform and the period in which they will be available:

- Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair (available December 10 for Android, console and PC)
- Race trim (available December 10 for Android and consoles)
- Gang Beasts (available December 10 for Android and consoles)
- The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim (available from 15 December)
This month they are coming tons of great titles, so for sure you will find something suitable for you. In the list stand out great works such as Control, DOOM Eternal, The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of a Lost Age Ultimate Edition.
PlayStation Now – The free games of December 2020
Let’s now move on to cloud gaming with the PlayStation Now, the streaming gaming service created by Sony. At the moment the PlayStation Now boasts a very large stock of titles and every month is always enriched with many news. Also, many of the games available for PS4 can also be downloaded, thus offering the possibility to play them to those who do not have an excellent connection. Here is the list of free games added to the service in December:
- Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition
- Darksiders 3
- Wreckfest
- The Surge 2
- Stranded Deep
- Broforce
Also this month the service was enriched with many quality titles. If you haven’t had a chance to play it yet, now you can finally enjoy Aloy’s extraordinary adventure thanks to Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. In addition, many other quality games are also available, such as Darksiders 3, Broforce e Wreckfest.
Google Stadia Pro – December 2020 Free Games
Let’s talk now about Stadia, the Google streaming gaming platform. While you don’t need a subscription to use Stadia, with the pro subscription you can enjoy even more benefits, including many new titles every month. The new free games available in December are:

Also this time Google offers to subscribers some really good titles. For sure the game that stands out the most is Hitman 2, but many other quality works also stand out on the list. Humble Choice – December 2020 Free Games
Now let’s see what titles are offered to us this month by the service Humble Choice by Humble Bundle. Subscribers to this service have the option to redeem every month, depending on the type of subscription, 3 or 9 games.
