Fujifilm introduces the INSTAX MINI 99, an analog snapshot with advanced and new features, including color effect dials, a unique dedicated vignette selector, plus brightness and focus modes to maximize the potential of each photo while maintaining the traditional INSTAX design
Fujifilm never ceases to amaze with its Instax department for instant cameras, after the Instax Pal, here is another great news: INSTAX MINI 99 for the first time it offers a color effect bezel – Color Effect Dial. QThis exclusive ring allows six effects: Faded Green, Warm Tone, Light Blue, Soft Magenta, Sepia, and Light Leak, so that you can customize, create and design a unique and unrepeatable image. Guided by LED lights inside the camera, the Color Effect feature displays your chosen color on INSTAX MINI instant film, creating the desired effect on your printed INSTAX MINI photo. The color effect functionality is selectable via a dial reminiscent of those on digital cameras.
INSTAX MINI 99 is equipped also an attractive new selector, Manual Vignette Switch. Located on the lens housing, it can be used to add a shaded artistic frame around the image.
Fujifilm: the INSTAX MINI 99 with rings is coming!
The launch of INSTAX MINI 99 is accompanied by PHOTO SLIDE, a new INSTAX MINI film. This new film was inspired by the design patterns found on photographic film holders and completes the print expression of the INSTAX MINI 99.
The technical characteristics
- Brightness Control Dial
This dial offers five distinct levels of brightness: the Light (“L+”) setting indicates the brightest exposure, the “L,” “D,” and “N” settings offer the normal range of brightness, and the Dark setting ( “D-”) represents the darkest brightness level available. - Shooting Modes
Numerous shooting modes enhance the user experience: Indoor Mode it is designed for low light situations, Sport Mode increase your shutter speed to capture the perfect action shot, Double Exposure Mode allows the user to combine two images into one, Bulb Mode increases the amount of light that is let in during image creation, giving a “light leak” effect on the print. Landscape, Standard and Macro Focus modes of the camera are easily accessible by adjusting the lens ring. Landscape mode focuses on subjects positioned at a reference distance of “3.0m and more”. Macro mode is perfect for close-ups and selfies at a reference distance between “0.3m to 0.6m”. Users can select Standard mode for everything else. - Self-timer (Self-timer)

The MINI 99’s flash controls include Auto mode, Fill-in (the flash will always fire regardless of lighting), Red-eye Removal and the option to turn off the flash . - Handle and tripod socket
To improve your grip in even the busiest shooting situations, the MINI 99 features a precision-milled basic grip with tripod socket, which also doubles as a grip when attached to the camera (tripod sold separately).
