From the stage of Gamescom 2021, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, the third chapter of the Supermassive Games anthology coming this year, has also returned to show itself.
One of the PlayStation 4 exclusives that we most remember with affection is definitely Until Dawn, a decidedly very teen teen drama that has, however, known, with its flaws, entertain a huge slice of the public. An audience that then became passionate about other titles of the genre, the so-called “new graphic adventures”, a new trend born from the ashes of the pillars of the 90s. Supermassive Games continued to work on similar video games, this time no longer exclusive to Sony, creating The Dark Pictures Anthology. The first chapter, Man of Medan, certainly did not manage to cover the footsteps left by Until Dawn, disappointing virtually anyone who played it due to its unconvincing script and characters. Little Hope then managed to revive the fortunes, albeit always remaining too immature, and House of Ashes, the third chapter, he definitely seems to want to move the bar higher.
And it is precisely from this new chapter of The Dark Pictures Anthology that they come interesting news from the Gamescom 2021 stage.
