Operation “Motherland”, is a brand new campaign for Ghost Recon Breakpoint outgoing on November 2. Set a few months after the end of the original story, Nomad no longer takes place on Auroa but now the island has become a strategic target for multiple countries interested in making it their own. Ghost Recon Breakpoint: all the news of “Operation Motherland”

“The CIA aims to ease global tensions by giving power on the island to a neutral force – Ito and the Outcasts – transforming Auroa into an autonomous country,” Ubisoft’s blog post on the new campaign reads.Operation Motherland” from Ghost Recon Breakpoint. “This operation, led by Karen Bowman, is called the Motherland.”

At the heart of the operation is the new mode Conquest. Described as an alternative to Breakpoint’s story mode, Conquest places an emphasis on player actions and the resulting consequences for Auroa. Coinciding with Motherland, Auroa will suffer some atmospheric changes. In particular, the area will be divided into five different zones, with a general autumn and winter climate. According to Ubisoft, cloudiness, rain, fog and sun will alternate more on the island. New insects, herbs and bird flight patterns have also been added. With the return of Conquest comes the return of Faction Warfare, which will see the presence of Outcast reflect the actions of the players.

The maximum level of XP was increased to 99 to account for the extra content added to Breakpoint. Skill Points can now be used to increase weapon mastery and also focus on a preferred play style.
