Godzilla Minus One, trailer and images published online, is arriving in cinemas in Japan on November 3, 2023, from the creators of the animated film Lupine III – The First and Space Battleship Yamato
It will debut in Japanese cinemas on December 1, 2023 Godzilla Minus One, the thirty-third Godzilla film produced by Toho and the thirty-seventh film in the franchise. The King of the Monsters has become one of the main and most loved and famous figures in pop culture, and this 2023 will end with another of his films from the long and renowned Godzilla saga, directed by the Japanese master of special effects Takashi Yamazakidirector of the live action Space Battleship Yamato and the animated film Lupin III – The First released in Japan in December 2019 and in the rest of the world in 2020.
Godzilla Minus One: the plot, the cast and the trailer
Unlike Godzilla from Warner Bros.’ Monsterverse, who is shown as a protective god of the Earth and deemed a hero by the human population for killing the MUTOs in Godzilla 2014 and Ghidora in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, this Godzilla will unleash terror and utter devastation in a Japan in a terrible state of poverty after the post-war period. Godzilla arrives to put an end to a population already in total decline. In the cast we find Ryunosuke Kamiki (Bakuman del 2015) e Minami Hamabe (I Want to Eat Your Pancreas 2017)
From the images, we can see how terrifying and gigantic the lizard is in this new live action, ready to unleash total devastation and eliminate the entire Asian population. Godzilla’s design is remarkable, realistic and majestic, it has nothing to envy of Warner Bros’ Godzilla, which has a much larger budget. We anxiously await the release of the film in theaters, ready to enjoy scenes of the most famous Kaiju in the world in action again! Will it live up to expectations?
