After ending in December 2021, Gomorra – Final Season will arrive in Blu-Ray and DVD format on May 19th.
Gomorra – Final Season is the final act of the cult Sky Original produced by Cattleya in partnership with Beta Film. Genny Savastano and Ciro Di Marzio have come to a showdown, but their story stays with us forever thanks to the home video product. The protagonists of the series, played by Salvatore Esposito and Marco D’Amore, accompany us in this latest chapter full of action and twists. The fifth season of Gomorrah arrives in DVD and Blu-Ray starting from May 19thwith over an hour of special content to discover behind the scenes and characters – old and new.
The plot | Gomorrah – Final season
The plot of this fifth season follows both the events of the previous one and the film de The Immortal, starring the allegedly deceased Ciro Di Marzio. The clash between the Levant and Patricia he left Naples in ruins, forcing Genny to return to action to restore order. But now he is hunted by the police, forced into a bunker and with no more Azzurra and Pietrino, abandoned to guarantee them a better life. His only ally is now ‘O Mistralthe mysterious boss of Ponticelli. War is imminent and the enemies are fierce. But comes a discovery: Ciro Di Marzio is alive, in Latvia. And for Genny nothing will ever be the same again.
The ten episodes of Gomorrah – Final Season, shot in Naples, Riga and Rome, are written by the head writers Leonardo Fasoli and Maddalena Ravagliwho also sign the series subject with Roberto Saviano. To complete the writing team, Valerio Cilio and Gianluca Leoncini. Marco D’Amore, as well as protagonist in the role of Ciro together with Salvatore Esposito (Genny Savastano) is also a director together with Claudio Cupellinia role he had already played in two episodes of the fourth season of the series and in the blockbuster film The Immortal, a narrative bridge between the fourth and fifth season.
