On the occasion of the Google I/O there was the debut of the new one Google Pixel Tablet. This is the first model in the Pixel range for the tablet market segment. The project, for now, will not arrive in Italy but it could be commercialized on our market in the near future. Let’s see the specifications.
Google Pixel Tablet: the complete technical sheet
The new Google Pixel Tablet comes with a display LCD in 16:10 featuring a panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixel. To manage the functioning of the tablet there is the SoC Google Tensor G2the same one used by the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro as well as the new Pixel 7A.
The Google tablet can also count on 8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and on the operating system Android 13. Google has anticipated that the tablet will have 5-year software support. The newcomer to the Pixel range features an 8 Megapixel front and rear camera, with support for recording at 1080p and 30 fps.
Among the specifications there is room for a fingerprint sensor, integrated into the power button. The tablet supports connectivity Wi-Fi 6 in addition to the Bluetooth 5.2. The dimensions are equal to 258 x 169 x 8.1 mm for a weight of 493 grams. There’s also a companion dock that aims to make it a true smart display, similar to the Nest Hub.
The new Google Pixel Tablet is available immediately on the market but only in some countries. The official price and of $499 (plus tax) in the US.
