Disney + is ready to celebrate Halloween by proposing Hallowstream for this 2021 as well
Autumn time, pumpkins and… Halloween also at Disney +, which again this year offers a series of dedicated contents in streaming. We have already told you about the best movies and TV series, for adults and for families, to see on the platform. In this article, instead, we want to sum up what has been done since the beginning of September, to guarantee a frightening October 31st.
And indeed, already on Wednesday 8 September the episode of the animated series was made available Marvel Studios What If…?, intitolato E se… Zombie?!, in which the Avengers become infected with a plague and the surviving heroes must seek a cure.
The catalog titles have been updated since September 24, making available original titles, including The Haunted House, and beloved classics, including Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas.
Hallowstream: Disney + Original October Program
But much more came in October. Starting with LEGO Star Wars: Spooky Tales, available on the platform from October 1: after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, Poe and BB-8 face an emergency landing on the volcanic planet Mustafar, where they meet the greedy and devious Graballa The Hutt who bought the castle by Darth Vader and is transforming it into the galaxy’s first all-inclusive luxury hotel inspired by the Sith. While they wait for their X-Wing to be repaired, they venture into the depths of the mysterious castle with Vader’s faithful servant, Vaneé. Along the way, Vaneé shares with them three gruesome stories related to ancient artifacts and villains par excellence, from all eras of Star Wars.
Friday 8 October was the time for the first Muppets Halloween special, entitled Muppets Haunted Mansion: The haunted house, with a stellar cast and unreleased music for the enjoyment of the whole family. Muppets Haunted Mansion: The haunted house takes place during the Halloween party, when Gonzo is challenged to spend a night that will test his courage in the scariest and funniest place on Earth.
The supernatural anthology series Just Beyond, inspired by the stories of RL Stine and composed of eight episodes, is instead available from Wednesday 13 October. The series tells the surprising and suggestive stories of a reality that goes beyond what we know. Each episode introduces viewers to a new cast of characters who must embark on an amazing journey of self-discovery in a supernatural world of witches, aliens, ghosts and parallel universes.
