343 Industries, after confirming toE3 that the multiplayer from Halo Infinite would be free to play, also announced that the first beta of the game (or technical previews) would be launched this summer. Over the last two weeks, there has been a succession of statements regarding the ever-increasing proximity of the release date of these previews by the aforementioned software house and now, finally, it seems that the numerous promises are about to turn into solid reality. Halo Infinite: the multiplayer beta is near, only the final checks are missing according to the latest statements by 343 Industries
In the most recent Halo Insider blog post, 343 Industries again reported that the studio has not yet fixed the data exact for the release of the first beta multiplayer from Halo Infinite. Based on how things are developing right now, the beta (which will be focused on flying and tackling some bots) could be launched as early as the next weekend:
The publication of this post means that we are very close to release, but flying is a smooth and delicate process, we need to make sure everything is actually ready before release. That said, we’ve been given permission to say our first bot-focused technical preview could happen next weekend. Before the start of the same, we are planning a live stream in which we will immerse ourselves in the actual construction and tackle almost every aspect of the technical preview. Stay tuned.
Halo Infinite is expected for Christmas festive season for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC. An exact release date has yet to be set, but 343 Industries is apparently committed to meeting the aforementioned launch window. Most of the rumors also claim that the game can be launched in November.
