The story continues: our dear and beloved Master Chief returns in season 2 of Halo in the first official trailer of the TV series on the Paramount+ streaming platform, ready to return to exploring alien planets in space?
Fans of video games, but especially of Halo, one of Microsoft’s exclusive sagas, will rejoice in reading this news. Paramount announced Halo season 2 with a first trailer, but the surprises don’t end there! Paramount added that the first two episodes of the second season will be shown as a world premiere on Thursday 8 February 2024, in all countries around the world where Paramount+ is available. The news, together with the first trailer, was announced at the Paramount panel at the Comic Con Experience 2023 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where the actors of the cast participated. They were present at the event Pablo Schreiberwhich he played Master Chief e Joseph Morgan, together with the showrunner David Wiener and the executive producer Kiki Wolfkill.
Halo season 2: here is the trailer and the plot
In the second season, we will meet the soldier again Master Chief John – 117who will lead a team of soldiers Spartan against the alien threat known as Covenant. After suffering a trauma, John finds himself on a desert planet and decides to risk it all by proving to everyone what no one else believes: that the Covenant plans to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. With the galaxy in peril, John embarks on a perilous journey to find the key to humanity’s salvation—or extinction: l’Hello. The TV series was created by David Weiner (Brave New World) and takes place in the same universe that began with the first chapter of the 2001 videogame saga. The series is set in 26th century and at the center of the plot is the dramatic war between the human race and the alien Covenant race, full of personal stories, action and adventure.
They return to the cast Pablo Schreiber (Masterchief) e Natascha McElhone (Dr. Halsey), who in this new season are also producers. She will also return Jane Taylor in the role of Cortana. Among the new entries we have Joseph Morgan (The Vampire Diaries) e Cristina Rodlo (The Homeless World Cup). Morgan will play the role of James Ackerson, an intelligence agent who has spent his life rising through the ranks of the UNSC’s Office of Naval Intelligence. Rodlo instead will be Talia Perez, a linguistics and communications expert corporal in the UNSC Marine Corps who has never fought on the battlefield. The series will be available fromFebruary 8, 2024 on Paramount+.
