As usual, at the beginning of each month, Microsoft reveals the first wave of December games arriving on Xbox Game Pass, which allows you to play hundreds of titles in the catalog for free, even in cloud gaming mode.
November had been a month with a bang for subscribers, who received major games such as Return To Monkey Island, Football Manager 2023, Pentiment and Sommerville in their catalogue. The surreal Soccer Story is also pleasant, which arrived just a few days before the start of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. And if we look back we can say we are satisfied, all that remains is to take a look at the games arriving this month.
Xbox Game Pass: here are the games of December 2022
Let’s start with some bad news: Hot Wheels Unleashed – Game of the Year Edition, which should have arrived in the catalog on December 15, has been postponed to a later date. We hope to see it by the end of the year or, at the latest, early 2023.
For the rest, there are four games announced for December, although Xbox usually staggers the releases in two: one part in the middle and the other at the end of the month. Therefore, it will not be only these four titles arriving in December. Those announced so far are:
- Hello Neighbor 2 – from December 13 on consoles and PC
- Infinite Guitars – December 13 on consoles
- High On Life – from December 13 on consoles, PC and Cloud
- Chained Echoes – from December 13 on consoles and PC
Hello Neighbor 2 is the second chapter of Dynamic Pixels’ acclaimed and atypical stealth survival horror.
Infinite Guitars is instead a game that mixes RPG combat gameplay with the typical mechanics of rhythm games.
Directly from the creators of Rick & Morty and Solar Opposites also comes High on Life, an irreverent game that takes us to a future where humans are used as drugs by an alien cartel. Definitely worth trying.
Closes the first part of December’s Xbox Game Pass games Chained Echoes, a 16-bit game that incorporates the aesthetics of the old Nintendo NES.
