  • X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR and X-Processor 5 offer high image quality and performance

The X100VI features a 40.2 megapixel back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor. The sensor has a unique pixel structure that allows it to efficiently capture more light than any previous X100 series camera. Additionally, ISO 125, which on the previous X100V was only an extended sensitivity option, is now available natively.

Combining this sensor with the 23mmF2.0 lens, which is also designed for higher resolution sensors, allows the X100VI to deliver sharp, high-resolution images. X100VI is equipped with a total of 20 film simulation modes, including the new “REAL ACE” mode, to give images a diverse range of distinctive tones. The “REAL ACE” mode offers faithful color reproduction and high-contrast tones, making it suitable for any subject and situation.

The X100VI incorporates an impressive autofocus prediction algorithm for reliable focusing, even when recording continuously moving subjects. The X100VI uses X-Processor 5’s subject-tracking AF to precisely track a range of subjects. Built using deep learning AI technology, it detects animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects and drones.

  • High and improved performance to further expand the possibilities of use

The X100VI is the first camera in the X100 Series to incorporate a 5-axis internal image stabilization feature with up to 6.0 stops. The newly developed system features a slight increase in weight and size compared to previous X100 Series models, but without compromising mobility.

The “advanced hybrid viewfinder” allows you to freely switch between optical viewfinder (OVF) and electronic viewfinder (EVF), pursuing the rangefinder style of photography that has been a hallmark of the X100 Series. The EVF features a high-resolution OLED panel with approximately 3.69 million dots, for a better and immersive shooting experience. The “Electronic Range Finder” (ERF) function can simultaneously display a small EVF on the OVF, allowing the photographer to frame the subject in the OVF and magnify the focus area in the small EVF, thus increasing the capabilities of the viewfinder.

For the first time in the X100 Series, the X100VI is capable of recording 6.2K/30P footage. The camera also features an AF tracking function during movie recording to ensure the creation of high-quality content.

X100VI supports Frame.io Camera to Cloud without the need for additional accessories. The camera allows you to connect wirelessly to an active Internet connection, authenticating to Frame.io and automatic upload of photos and videos immediately after creation, dramatically speeding up the workflow from shooting to final editing.

  • Sophisticated design with the ultimate in functional beauty

As with the previous X100V model, aluminum is used for the top and bottom surfaces of the X100VI body. Aluminum, which has a high degree of forming freedom, is pressed and processed to obtain sharp edges, and the surface is finely sandblasted to obtain a smooth structure. Additionally, anodized aluminum is used on the surface to provide a high-quality look. The X100VI’s ultra-thin tilting LCD monitor can be folded perfectly flush with the camera body, a design borrowed from the X100V. Its sleek, body-integrated design allows for a variety of shooting styles and framing from different angles, such as from above or below. The high responsive performance of the touchscreen, combined with the intuitive operation of the X100VI, also makes it highly functional.

The shape of the handle has been developed to improve ergonomics. The buttons on the back of the X100VI have been moved to a position that is easy to operate with the right hand, for extremely comfortable shooting even when looking through the viewfinder.

  • Exclusive accessories for greater versatility of use

The weather resistance of X100VI is guaranteed when the optional AR-X100 adapter ring and PRF-49 protection filter are used together with the X100VI lens. This allows the user to continue making images in difficult weather conditions and feel comfortable when nature takes an unexpected turn.

Fujifilm’s optional LH-X100 lens hood is also compatible with the X100VI. In addition to being lightweight and precision-crafted from machined metal, the lens hood is expertly designed and includes a slit so it effectively blocks light while not obstructing your field of view when looking through the viewfinder. Two different types of optical converters allow the user to change the focal length without changing the optical performance of the X100VI, thus expanding the range of use:

  • Wide Conversion Lens (WCL-X100 II)
The WCL-X100 II is a dedicated wide-angle conversion lens that multiplies the focal length by approximately 0.8x, converting it to 28mm (35mm format equivalent).
  • Tele Conversion Lens (TCL-X100 II). The TCL-X100 II is a dedicated tele conversion lens that narrows the field of view by multiplying the focal length by approximately 1.4x, converting it to 50mm (35mm format equivalent).

The LC-X100V genuine leather case available as an optional accessory gives the X100VI a luxurious look. The memory card and battery can be inserted and removed without removing the camera from the case.
