The documentary “Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds” is about to debut on Disney+, the news was leaked thanks to the announcement on the platform’s official website
“Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds” it is a film directed by Glen Milnerwhich premiered at Tribeca Festival last June at the Indeed Theater at Spring Studios in New York City. The plot of the documentary follows the creative path of the famous man video game developer Hideo Kojimaknown for creating iconic games like Metal Gear Solid e Death Stranding. It also focuses on the launch of Kojima’s production studio as an independent studio and includes exclusive interviews with the likes of Guillermo del Toro, Nicholas Winding Refn, Grimes, George Miller, Norman Reedus, Woodkid and Chvrches. During the Game Awards on December 7, Kojima Productions announced a new game titled OD, in collaboration with film director and comedian Jordan Peele. The game will feature the actress Sophia Lillisnota per i suoi ruoli in It e Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Hideo Kojima is known for creating the Metal Gear game for Konami in 1987, which helped define the stealth gaming genre. After leaving Konami in December 2015, he founded his own independent studio, Kojima Productions. Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding game was the studio’s first independent title, launching for PlayStation 4 in November 2019.
The sequel to Death Stranding, titled Death Stranding 2: On the Beachwill be launched in 2025 and will see the return of actors such as Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Elle FanningShioli Kutsuna e Troy Baker. In November 2021, Kojima Productions launched a new division dedicated to music, television and film in Los Angeles, California, while currently working on the development of the game Death Stranding 2. The documentary Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds will be available on Disney+ from February 23.
