The owl brings us a letter in turquoise hues: this week’s magical State of Play is entirely dedicated to Hogwarts Legacy
If hearing the words “You are a wizard, Harry” still causes shivers down your spine and your gaming faith wears blue, you will be glad to know that the next State of Play will give us the first “in-depth look” a Hogwarts Legacy. You will be able to wear your Ravenclaw tunic starting at ten in the evening (and not “three-quarters nine”, the joke has already been made) on Thursday 17 March. Your tour of the best-known castle in modern fantasy will last approximately twenty minutes, fourteen of which will all be by pure gameplay on PlayStation 5. Time to get Lumos on the game!
Accio State of Play: twenty minutes all dedicated to Hogwarts Legacy
The statement from the PlayStation community manager, Chandler Wood, leave no room for doubt: “Avalanche Software and WB Games are delighted to join Sony for a special edition of the State of Play entirely dedicated to Hogwarts Legacy.” Continuing, Wood adds that since the game’s reveal, the trailer boasts twenty-eight million views on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. “We made a promise: to reveal more this year, and we are finally ready to keep it. The show will run for about 20 minutes, of which about 14 will be of gameplay recorded on PS5. “

If time splitting gives you more headaches than Hermione’s Time Turner, the non-gameplay section will be in the end. The presentation will conclude “with information from some members of the development team that will bring the Wizarding World to life.” Wood added, “This is an unmissable moment that we have been working on for a long time. We can’t wait to show you what has kept us so busy. ” The game missed its original release period (last year), but it cannot be ruled out that the presentation ends with a date to mark on the calendar.
