Two weeks after its launch, it’s almost an understatement to say that Hogwarts Legacy (our review here!) is a real commercial success. Arrived last February 10 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | Yes, after the postponement of the old-gen and Nintendo Switch versions, the title of Avalanche Software and Warner Bros has depopulated, despite the criticisms and boycott attempts related to the highly contested (and equally contestable) figure of the author of the original world, JKRowling. A success also and above all on Twitch, with the developers who have created Twitch Drops and free rewards specifically for the viewers of the channels who have joined the initiative. One of these was the Cloak of Merlin, made accessible for a limited time as a Drop, but then removed from Avalanche. Don’t worry though: it’s coming back!
If you missed the opportunity to redeem Merlin’s Cloak, don’t despair: the reward is about to return. Available exclusively as an Avalanche Software channel Twitch Drop, you will once again be able to join a specially created stream for reward distribution. Streaming will start at 11pm tomorrow, Friday 24th February. You will need to follow it for a minimum of twenty minutes and have activated the ability to get Twitch Drops on your account.
Merlin’s Cloak returns as a Twitch Drop in Hogwarts Legacy!
Avalanche hasn’t confirmed anything yet on a possible next stream, so we don’t know if this will be the last chance available to get the reward. Tomorrow February 24th will also be the last day that the other four Twitch Drops will be available, namely Dragon-Eyed Spectacles, Urchin Hat, Carmine Lightning Scarf and the Lilac Ensemble. For the latter four, you can simply tune into a Twitch channel that is broadcasting Hogwarts Legacy and has Drops active. Follow the stream for two consecutive hours and you will get them all.
Tomorrow, Friday, February 24, the Merlin’s Cloak in Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drop will be available again on the Avalanche Software Twitch channel.
