The arrival on the Chinese market of the new Honor Tab X7 is imminent, a very economical 8 ″ tablet based on Android 10 and equipped with a 5100mAh battery.
The new tablet signed by Honor will expand the entry level market thanks to its display IPS LCD gives 8″ ed al SoC MediaTek MT8768T assisted by 3GB of memory RAM. It will be available in two versions, one with only the module Wi-Fi and one that will also integrate a LTE modem to surf the web even outside the home. It is important to know immediately that both configurations non will support the Play Store of Google.

The hardware card of this product is perfectly in line with its price. The panel IPS gives 8″ it is certainly not among the largest in its category, given that on average they have dimensions starting from 10 ″. On the other hand, however, the device is a bit more compact. The processor and its 3GB of memory RAM they won’t work miracles, so application multitasking will likely be challenged by technical limitations. Same goes for the execution of heavier software, it will hardly be possible to enjoy video games of a certain thickness. The memory ROM alone 32GB it will be destined to run out quickly between the installation of the App and the personal files stored by the user. Fortunately, however, this limit can be circumvented by inserting a MicroSD in its slot.
L’Honor Tab X7 therefore turns to those looking for a very low cost product that does the bare minimum, namely watching streaming video content, web browsing and little else. Sure, there are cameras for video calling, but the front sensor will only be from 2MP, therefore you cannot expect a valid quality during your videoconferences. What is worth focusing attention on is the presence of a variant with LTE modem. The latter will allow you to use the internet connection outside the home by inserting one SIM Card. Finally, speaking of autonomy, the huge battery from 5100mAh will ensure that the device is operational higher per day if si they will have the necessary precautions (display brightness not at maximum, Wi-Fi disabled, few hours of play, etc.). All that remains is to wait for a possible announcement of this device also for the European market.
