Volkswagen T-Cross updates with the model 2024: restyling and new features, combined with a few extra centimeters, renew the German company's B-SUV, which however confirms itself as extremely accessible and perfect for getting around the city. Our test drive and how much is it.
New Volkswagen T-Cross 2024: the restyling
Among the main innovations of the Volkswagen T-Cross 2024 there are LED headlights both front and rear, included in the basic price. The cabin boasts improved materials, digital instrumentation and an updated infotainment system, as well as better standard safety equipment.
Both the LED headlights and the light bar that crosses the grille are available as options on the Life, Edition Plus and R-Line trim levels. At the rear, bumpers and light clusters have been redesigned, with particular attention to the specific look of the T-Cross Stylewhich also includes dynamic turn signals.
The restyling of the new one Volkswagen T-Cross, which we tried during our test drive, brought a slight increase in the length of the vehicle – almost three centimeters more – reaching a total of 4.14 meters from bumper to bumper. Despite this, the internal habitability remains generous in relation to the external dimensions.
The proportions of the bodywork remain compact, offering versatility in the interior and ease of maneuvering in cities, while inside the 14-centimetre sliding sofa further improves the usability of the cabin. Furthermore, on all versions of the T-Cross 2024 there is the possibility of folding down the backrest of the front passenger seat, increasing the versatility of the interior space.
Volkswagen T-Cross 2024: il test drive
For our test drive we tried the Volkswagen T-Cross in the version with a 1.0 TSI turbo petrol engine with 95 HP, which proves to be perfect for driving in the urban environment and even outside the city. In this case, maximum performance occurs on flat routes, while uphill it is sometimes under torque. In this case, the 115 HP version should not cause any problems.
Overall, the new T-Cross 2024 it is confirmed by the excellent driving experience which, thanks also to its B-SUV dimensions, offers good visibility. The steering is light and easily manoeuvrable, while it stands out for its well-placed controls which are extremely comfortable to interact with.
Prices and variants of the T-Cross 2024
But how much does it cost? Volkswagen T-Cross 2024? The B-Suv also confirms its accessibility in terms of price, which starts from 26,200 euros for the Life variant that we tried in our test drive, with a 95 HP 1.0 TSI engine.
In the new range T-Cross we also find the Edition Plus, which for 2,000 euros more adds 17-inch alloy wheels, rain sensor and reversing camera. Then there are the Style and R-Line trim levels, which start from 31,000 euros. Furthermore, the range of T-Cross 2024 is enriched with three new colors available: Grape Yellow, Clear Blue Metallic and Kings Red Metallic.
