Filming of the live action How to Train Your Dragon has finally begun and confirmation comes from the official photo taken directly on the set which announces the start of work on the film based on the Dreamworks animated saga
After the great success of the original animated trilogy, How to Train Your Dragon makes its return to cinema with a live action. We also recently discovered the actor who will play Stoick, Hiccup’s father. He returns to directing Dean DeBlois (take a look at his filmography), former director of the three animated films of the famous and beloved saga Dreamworks. The director shared the first photo from the set of How to Train Your Dragon to finally inaugurate and formalize the start of filming. In the photo we see the director with the clapperboard in his hand and a sweater reminiscent of the Viking era, in full How to Train Your Dragon style. Behind there is a part of the set that anticipates themedieval setting that we will see in the film, with the caption that says “First day of shooting! We are all excited to get started!”

The director also took care of the film script of the film and the productionwith Mark Platt e Adam Siegel. Gerard Butler he will return to play his character in live action, that is Stoick The Immensefather of the protagonist Hiccupwhich will be played by Mason Thames. Nico Parker will play the role of Astrid e Nick Frost it will be instead Skaracchio. At the beginning, director Dean DeBlois wasn’t willing to make a live action version of How to Train Your Dragon, so much so that he told Variety that live action remakes suggest that the animated version is inferior. It seems obvious by now that the director has changed his mind over the years and now the live action How to Train Your Dragon is about to be released.
