The Mazda Spirit Racing RS roars

The intent of these two models is to focus on track use, with changes that include a revised set-up and aerodynamic improvements that they learn from the Super Taikyu Series, the Japanese GT championship. We can also find the innovations in the interior of the car, which increase the sporting spirit of the two cars. Speaking in more detail, the Mazda MX-5 Spirit Racing has a pair of Recaro seats with 4-point beltsthe steering wheel is covered in Alcantarthe bodywork with numerous decals, the exhaust is now larger and finally it has a Brembo braking system. The Mazda3 instead it has a larger than usual front splitter, side skirts and the rear spoiler is now in carbon fiber.

Even on the 5-door the exhaust is enlarged, it also has a Brembo brake, but apparently it has some modified suspension. There are no other details on these engine changes and we don’t know if the Mazda MX-5 will always remain on 184 HP or if it will reach, or at best exceed, the 200 CV. At the moment we don’t even know when it will be available in Europe, we only know that they will initially be sold in Japan.
