Huracán Tecnica: il nuovo "toro selvaggio" di Lamborghini thumbnail

Huracán Tecnica new supercar from Lamborghini

Lamborghini unveiled a new variant of its consecrated Huracán, with one version called Tecnica. This one model has a number of improvements over the one it takes as a basis.

The main features show the elements that, in some way, define the brand. Among these it stands out the aerodynamic treatment. The design is in fact revised, with a front facing inwards and muscular shoulders that joins the carbon fiber hood. The Third Millennium Ypsilon-patterned front bumper is new, incorporating an air curtain on a Huracán for the first time. A new front splitter, with lower and more open fins that direct air through the wheels. This helps improve downforce and cooling.

The profile of the car also distinguishes it from the Huracán family: at 610 mm longer than the Huracán EVO, it has the same height and width, but appears lower and wider, with a silhouette inspired by the SCV12 Essence line.

The rear incorporates a new bumper with an optimized air intake. Also provided is a diffuser painted in body color or optionally in black which combines new hexagonal tailpipes.

The fixed rear wing essentially contributes to a 35% improvement in rear downforce compared to the Huracán EVO RWD. Furthermore a guarantees that the aerodynamic drag is not increased. Indeed this is reduced by 20%, thus improving performance, promoting stability when braking and cornering speed. The underbody of the Tecnica is also optimized with new spoilers to improve aerodynamic efficiency.

Inspired by the Lamborghini Vision GT, the 20-inch Damiso diamond-cut wheels have a hexagonal design. Tires are mounted on them Bridgestone Potenza Sport.

Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica, 640 HP of pure power

To push this beast, the Lamborghini engineers chose the new generation of the V10 engine, a 5.2 with 640 HP (the same as the Huracán STO, with an increase of 30 HP compared to the Huracán EVO) and 57.6 kgm of torque. Power that is transferred to the rear axle steered by means of a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. With a curb weight of 1,379 kg, the Technique offers a weight / power ratio of 2.15 kg / CV.

The heart of this Huracán is the system LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata), which controls all aspects of the car’s dynamic behavior.

The rear-wheel drive system incorporates axle steering with a more direct ratio along with a modified traction control system (P-TCS). It offers three driving modes: STRADA, SPORT or CORSA which adjust the parameters of the P-TCS, engine, transmission and suspension.

Thanks to this latest configuration, the Huracán Tecnica accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 km / h.

These features are accompanied by a new brake cooling management, inspired by Lamborghini’s experience on the circuits. THE Carbon ceramic brakes adopt specially designed cooling deflectors and caliper ducts.

Stylish interior

Inside of, height-adjustable sports seats await the pilot in the cockpit. Other options include a lighter door design, a rear wheel arch and titanium wheel bolts. Add to this seat belts with harnessideal for those who go to the circuit more regularly.

The driver’s instrument cluster reduces colors and emphasizes legibility in a new, wide arc in front of it. The center console screen sets real-time LDVI functions are available to cabin occupants. Present the connectivity functions, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto e Amazon Alexa . Inspired by the STO, the HMI includes telemetry and a record of the tracks and times reached on them. All connected to the application called UNICA.

Upholstery color options lend themselves to both luxury-oriented and sporty-oriented specifications. In addition to the eight standard exterior colors, More than 200 additional paint options are available through the Ad Personam program.
