Iliada few days after his fifth birthdaycommunicates the financial data of first three months of 2023: for the twentieth quarter in a row iliad is confirmed as a leader in the mobile market for growth. In fact, as of March 31, 2023 the active users are 9 million and 849 thousandwith a net growth of 282 thousand users compared to the end of 2022.
Iliad remains the first operator for mobile growth
The community of iliad users seems increasingly satisfied with the service offered. A recent survey by the Doxa institute shows that 99% of Iliad mobile users are happy, against 97% recorded in January 2022.
Also in the optical fiber sector (FTTH) iliad continues to expand, exceeding 130 thousand userswith an increase of 22 thousand active users compared to the last quarter of 2022. It reaches a market share in the fiber-to-the-home segment of around 3.8% according to Agcom.
The main economic indicators of iliad in Italy are also on the rise. In fact, the turnover of first quarter is 241 million euros, +12.6% compared to the first quarter of 2022. Even more significant is the growth in EBITDAaL, equal to 60%, which goes from 40 million euros in the first quarter of 2022 to 64 million registered as of March 31 of this year.

Benedetto Levi, CEO of iliadcomments: “Almost five years after the launch of the first offer, we are the leader of the Italian market for the 20th quarter in a row for net growth of mobile users. The 20 consecutive quarters, along with the recently measured 99% satisfactionare the tangible sign that the path we have chosen, i.e. investing to offer our users quality, transparent and innovative offers, is the right path”.
The Iliad Group also records positive results: the first quarter closes con more than 46 million eurosan increase of 615 thousand euros compared to March 2022. The total turnover of the group is 2 billion 186 million euros, with a +13% compared to the same quarter of 2022. EBITDAaL also grew to 783 million euros, on 9,6% more than at March 31, 2022.
