Intel Arc and the Intel’s new brand for high-performance graphics reserved for consumer users. The brand in question will be used on upcoming high-performance graphics products. According to what was revealed by Intel, the Arc brand will include hardware solutions, software and services and will characterize several generations of products. The first generation of Intel Arc is based on the microarchitettura Xe HPG and has a code name Alchemist. Future generations will have the following codenames: Battlemage, Celestial and Druid.

According to what Intel revealed, the first Alchemist products will be available on the market from first quarter of 2022. The company has confirmed that the first information regarding Intel Arc solutions will be revealed over the next few weeks. The first generation of the new brand’s products will be able to count on hardware-based ray tracing and AI-controlled supersampling. Full DirectX 12 Ultimate support will also be guaranteed.
