Intel announced the launch of the new 14th Generation Intel Core processor series, designed specifically for desktop PC enthusiasts. This new line of processors offers unprecedented frequency performance, ensuring an optimal desktop experience for enthusiastic users. Enthusiasts can benefit from powerful overclocking, enabling exceptional performance and an unmatched experience.
In particular, the company presented the Intel Core i9-14900K processor as the flagship of the series. This boasts stock frequencies up to 6GHz; achieving industry-leading processing speeds. In addition to this, the range also includes the Intel Core i7-14700K processor. This offers a configuration of 20 cores and 28 threads, including four more Efficient cores (E-cores) than the previous generation. Additionally, Intel has introduced a new feature called AI Assist within the Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU); useful because it allows for easy AI-driven overclocking on certain processors.

Compatibility with 600/700 series chipsets allows users to easily upgrade their existing systems for cutting-edge gaming and content creation performance. The availability of the new 14th generation Intel Core desktop processors is scheduled to start from 17 October 2023.
