The LEGO Group announces the new LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster set, created by Tomáš Letenay, the LEGO Ideas fan designer
The iconic guitar Fender Stratocaster, loved by the great legends of music and also by emerging artists, with its characteristic sound it represents an emblem for all musical genres, and has now been reproduced in detail in bricks LEGO. Whether you’re an old school rock and roll fan, a lover of indie rock, R&B, heavy metal or just a music fan, the LEGO model of the Fender Stratocaster from 1970 will surely win you over, thanks also to the possibility of building it in the version red or black.
Introducing the new LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster set!
The guitar is equipped with six strings, tuning pegs it’s a tremolo arm to adjust the distortion of the sound. In addition, it also included a folding display stand, a pedals it’s a accompanying amplifier. The top and rear covers of the amplifier can be removed to show the speaker internal code, wiring and fine details such as the tubes, speaker and motherboard.
Tomas Letenay, a Slovak fan designer, entered the project in the LEGO Ideas Music to Our Ears competition. The LEGO Group review committee loved the creation so much that they commissioned it to turn it into a real set. Speaking about the project, Tomáš commented:
I used to play electric guitar when I was a teenager! I’ve always dreamed of owning a Fender Stratocaster, but I’ve never been able to afford it. The LEGO Ideas contest gave me the chance to make it out of LEGO bricks. The Stratocaster was my gateway to music and I am thrilled to see my project realized with the support of the LEGO Group. I hope other guitar fans have fun building it as well as I did.
Explaining why the LEGO Ideas team chose Tomáš’s design, Federico Begher, The LEGO Group’s VP of Global Marketing said:

The LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster set will be available from October 1, 2021 at the LEGO store It is on official site from LEGO and of Fender at the recommended retail price of 99,00 €, while on Amazon from January 2022.
