Under the body we have the new A15 Bionic. The new 5nm chip is up to 50% faster than competing CPUs, the 4-core GPU is 30% faster, and the new 16-core Neural Engine performs a whopping 15,800 billion operations per second. All this to offer you the best possible performance in any situation.

It is also bigger battery, now even more optimized to achieve two and a half hours of battery life more than the iPhone 12 and about an hour and a half more than the iPhone 12 mini. The software on the other hand is predictably iOS 15 while on the connectivity front we have the now inevitable 5G.

And the photographic sector? It’s not just the design that has changed. We have a new sensor with 1.7 µm pixels that captures 47% more light. The optical image stabilization system is integrated on both the main sensor of the iPhone 13 and that of the iPhone 13 mini and stabilizes the sensor instead of the lens for even more steady shots. L’ultragrandangolare instead it uses a new sensor that captures images with more detail in dark areas of photos and videos, producing less noise.

The Photographic styles instead, they allow users to bring their own photographic preferences to each image while still benefiting from Apple’s multi-frame processing. Custom presets and preferences act on scenes and subjects and, unlike a normal filter, intelligently apply the right adjustments to different parts of the photo to preserve the most important elements of the shot, such as different skin tones.
It also comes Smart HDR 4, with enhancement of color, contrast and lighting for every subject in group photos, even in the most difficult conditions; Night mode has also been optimized.

Great attention when it comes to videos, with techniques such as the rack focus which gives a wonderful depth effect with automatic focus changes. In addition, the focus can be changed during and after shooting while the bokeh effect can be changed in the Photos app, in iMovie for iOS and soon also in iMovie for macOS and in Final Cut Pro.

iPhone 13 Pro e 13 Pro Max offer even more. We start with the main sensor, wider by 1.9 µm and associated with a larger aperture (ƒ / 1.5) to reduce noise, ensure faster shutter speeds in all light conditions, and offer better performance when brightness is reduced. Optical on-sensor image stabilization (OIS) is available on both models and, even in this house, stabilizes the sensor instead of the lens for smooth images and stable video.

The ultra-wide angle instead has a wider aperture (ƒ / 1.8) and a new autofocus system that improves performance in low-light environments by 92%, ensuring brighter and sharper images.

Among the news we have macro photography, to magnify subjects with a minimum focal distance of 2 cm. This feature is also available for videos, including those shot in timelapse or slow-motion.

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max also integrate a new 77mm telephoto lens which allows you to get closer to the subject while recording a video.
