IT Girls is the training project of VEM systems: here are the details

VEM systems recently presented IT Girlsthe new free training course highly qualified and certified by Cisco. The course is designed to bring you closer young women to ICT professions, particularly in demand in the labor market. Let’s find out all the details together.

IT Girls, the training course of VEM Sistemi

IT Girls it’s a full time course of 4 weekscreated together with the Cisco Academy iFoa it offers 100 hours of training oriented to the formation of a technical profile in the System Integration field. The training course is an integral part of the Corporate Social Responsibility project VEMforGirls, which combines the company’s historic commitment to training and orientation of young talents the goal of reduce the gender gap in the ICT sector.

VEM4Girls is a container that includes two new projects:

  • VEMforGirls Academy, which includes the IT Girls training course. This responds to the objectives of orientation, training, diversity, providing young girls with strategic tools and skills to face the evolution of the world of work and the professions of the future that fall under the STEM cap;
  • VEMforGirls Learning & Communitya training project dedicated to employees.

How to access the course?

To apply for membership in IT Girls you must register by 21 October through official site. We remind you that access to the course is free and will be preceded by a aptitude selection e motivational (test of English, computer science, logic and oral interview). The course will officially start on November 7 and will be held within VEGA (VEM Experience Garden & Academy) presso l’VEM headquarters in Forlì.

This course is intended for young graduates o neodiplomate in science or technology, with passion and curiosity for technology and digital. In particular, a previous STEM studiesl’being unemployedil female gender (60% of the places available will be reserved for women but the course is also open to boys).

As already mentioned, the course provides four weeks of training for a total of 100 hours of training divided into the following training modules:

  • Basics of networking (CCNA1, part CCNA2);
  • Services Cloud;
  • Cybersecurity;
  • Project work e stage.
