Anyone who wants to drive a Jaguar F-Pace with a six-cylinder petrol or diesel engine will now have more choice. In fact, the British brand announces a new version “Sport” for both the D300 and the P400.
In terms of power, the 404hp four-cylinder Jaguar F-Pace P400e plug-in hybrid tops the list, but Jaguar still supplies the 3.0-liter straight-six lightweight F-Pace hybrid as well. Then you have to rely on the D300 (diesel) and the P400 (petrol), which have respectively 300 and 400 HP of power. For the engines that are at the top of the list, Jaguar is now launching a Sport version.
The 3.0-liter straight-six engine from the F-Pace 400 Sport delivers 395 hp and 550 Nm of torque, allowing you to sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km / h. It is also equipped with mild-hybrid technology, which uses a starter generator integrated into the belt in place of a conventional alternator to collect energy that would otherwise be lost during braking. Stored in a battery, this is then used to increase acceleration.
The six-cylinder diesel of the 300 Sport, meanwhile, it delivers 296 hp and 650 Nm of torque, and sprints to 100 km / h in 6.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km / h. Despite this lively performance, Jaguar ensures that the 300 Sport produces emissions of CO2 of 183 g / km and a fuel consumption of 6.9 l / 100 km.
Jaguar F-Pace, the “Sports” offer something more
The Jaguar F-Pace D300 Sport is the “cheaper” of the two, with a starting price of 127.704 ehour. The Jaguar F-Pace P400 Sport takes it one step further and costs at least € 134,324. A price difference compared to the “normal” versions of € 19,141 and € 18,940. Of course, you pay more, but you also get something in return. For starters, both models adopt the new 21-inch wheels, painted in glossy black (22-inch forged wheels are also available as an option). And black also dominates the exterior, along with tinted windows and roof bars in high-gloss black. So apart from the brand logo, the traditional chrome accents are no longer used on the outside. In terms of body colors, there are nine metallic colors to choose from, two of which are special: Carpathian Grey e Charente Grey.
The interior of the two Jaguar F-Pace Sports features sports seats in Windsor leather and satin ash veneer. The Smartphone Pack is standard for the Pivi Pro infotainment system, with which phone apps can be operated on the central screen via Android Auto or Apple Carplay. It is also possible to connect two phones at the same time. Finally, the F-Pace Sport are ready to perform voice commands or “respond” via Amazon Alexa.
