Jaguar is about to end an era with the launch of the F-TYPE ZP Editiona limited edition of only 150 vehicles inspired by the iconic E-Types racing car from the 60s: it will be the latest series of sports cars with internal combustion engines designed by Jaguar. Indeed, the company is preparing for a transformation into a completely brand electrified starting from 2025.
Jaguar F-TYPE ZP Edition will be the brand’s last petrol car
E-Types have been some of the most iconic and admired cars in motoring history. The F-TYPE takes up the baton to honor this tradition. Rawdon GloverManaging Director of Jaguar, said: “Jaguar is undertaking the boldest transformation in its history, to become, from 2025, a fully electrified modern luxury brand. What we are introducing is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of Jaguar’s internal combustion sports cars.”
Jaguar will produce F-TYPE ZP Editionin only 150 examples, making it a true limited edition for collectors and sports car enthusiasts. They will have powerful supercharged V8 engine 575 cavallioffering high-level performance and an engaging driving experience.
The line is inspired by the “Project ZP” E-Types of the 1960s. We will see two color variations, both inspired by the winning E-Type cars: Oulton Blue Gloss with two-tone leather interior Mars Red ed Ebony e Crystal Grey Gloss with two-tone leather interior Navy Blue ed Ebony.
The exterior of the F-TYPE ZP Edition is adorned with special details, including racing-style roundels on the doors hand-painted in Porcelain White Gloss and the edges of the grilles which stand out for their attractive design.
Attention to detail
The interior is equally luxurious, with horizontally grooved seats, exterior elements in Gloss Black and Gloss Black brake calipers.
Exclusive F-TYPE ZP Edition branding features on the fenders, 20-inch forged alloy wheels with Diamond Turned Gloss Black finish, door sill plates and dashboard. Each vehicle will be equipped with a commemorative plaque SV Bespoke with the words “One of 150,” underlining its exclusivity.
The F-TYPE ZP Edition will arrive in both Coupé and Convertible version. The supercharged engine with 575 hp and 700 Nm of torque delivers acceleration 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.5 secondswhile the electronically limited maximum speed reaches 300 km/h.
