Through his Instagram stories, the well-known YouTuber and Streamer Joker confirmed his ban from the Twitch platform: let’s find out all the details together
The Twitch platform and its community, both Italian and international, have grown dramatically in recent years, inevitably becoming the reference point for all fans of Streaming and video games. Directly owned by Amazon, Twitch allows all Amazon Prime holders to sign up for a subscription, completely free of charge, which replaces those normally available for the various channels. And what could possibly go wrong, in the world of the internet, when it comes to subscriptions, money and… bots?
In recent days, in fact, the purple site community has done nothing but talk about bot subscriptions: what are they? These are basically Prime memberships that are generated using bots, bundled and donated in large quantities to a specific streamer. Obviously, Twitch does not allow certain practices and punishes those who use them with the most banal, but increasingly useful, tool at their disposal: the channel ban. The same treatment also seems to have been received by Joker, a well-known Italian streamer and brother of Cicciogamer89which after a shadowban (which does not allow users to find the affected channel through search engines, but to reach it only via a direct link) and having lost the partnership with Twitch, found itself directly banned.
Joker and the ban on Twitch: between complaints and demands for clarity
All this was confirmed by the Joker himself through his Instagram profile, but the content creator was not the only one to be “hunted” from Twitch in recent days. The streamers, however, net of everything, complain more than anything else the difficulty in contacting the platform assistance and the fact that they have not been warned of a similar measure, which obviously also puts their monthly income at risk.
We’ll see if in the next few hours Joker will be able to contact Twitch support to resolve this ban issue, meanwhile at the moment the channel is unreachable from any search engine and, if you try to access via direct link, you will get the screen you see on the right halfway through the article.
