Killers of the Flower Moon is the new upcoming film by Martin Scorsese which is out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 and will be presented on May 20, while for Italian cinemas we still have to wait. In fact, the film will be released in cinemas in Italy on October 19, 2023but in the meantime we can enjoy the Italian trailer that was released on the occasion of the film’s presence at a major festival such as Cannes.

The film is a crime epic based on a true story, namely the brutal and mysterious murders that were encompassed in the term reign of terror, which occurred in the Osage in the 1920s. According to Martin Scorsese, there will be a strong western style that inspired him, with the presence of cowboys, horses and even the first cars within this territory inhabited by an Indian tribe. In the cast we can see Leonardo DiCaprio in his sixth film together with the director and alongside him Robert De Niro, who has already collaborated recently with the director in the film The Irishman, available on Netflix and Brendan Fraser fresh from an Oscar for The Whale.
