Today, May 25, we celebrate the Geek Pride Day and, for the occasion, Kingston Technology released the results of a survey highlighting the users’ relationship with technology. According to the survey, 88% of respondents say they use technological devices for almost the entire day.
A Kingston Technology survey highlights the relationship of Italians with technology
The use of technological devices is not limited to work but also extends to leisure time. In particular, technology is used to use social media (73%), take photos (60%), watch movies or TV series (56%) or play video games (12%). It should be noted that about 21% of users admitted to using technological devices for all previous activities.
Among the indispensable devices is the cell phone. In Italy, as some statistics confirm, there are over 80 million devices in this category. According to the Kingston Technology survey results, most of the interviewees (88%) declare that they do not have an improper relationship with technology. It should be noted, however, that only 13.5% of the sample claimed not to use the mobile phone in unsuitable situations. Furthermore, for 70% of the interviewees, it is possible to endure a day without a mobile phone.
