Just under a month and we will be able to see Po’s adventures on the big screen again, with Kung Fu Panda 4 for which a new trailer has been presented
The nice one Dragon Warrior kung fu master protagonist of the Kung Fu Panda saga DreamWorks Animation will return on 21 Marchwhen it arrives in theaters with Universal the fourth chapter eight years after the last film. After the first trailer at the end of last year, a second one has been released.
After defying death in three incredible adventures defeating world-famous enemies with his extraordinary courage and incredible martial arts skills, Po, the Dragon Warrior (Jack Black in the original version, Fabio Volo in the Italian one), is called by destiny to stop fighting. He is in fact entrusted with the task of becoming the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace.
This involves a new adventure in which Po will train a new Dragon Warrior before he can assume his new and prestigious position. As if that wasn’t enough, he was recently spotted an evil and powerful crime lord, Chameleon, who is capable of transforming into any creature, large or small. Chameleon has her eye on Po’s Staff of Wisdom, which would give her the power to awaken from the spirit realm all the villains Po has defeated.
Kung Fu Panda 4: a new trailer anticipates the release
The film uses the historical voices of Dustin Hoffmanwinner of the Oscar, in the role of the kung fu master Shifu, James Hong (Everything Everywhere All at Once) as Po’s adoptive father, Mr. Ping, Bryan Cranston as Po’s birth father, Li, and Ian McShane as Tai Lung, Shifu’s former student and bitter enemy. Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once) joins the ensemble in the role of a new character, Han, the leader of the Den of Thieves.
Kung Fu Panda 4 is directed by Mike Mitchell and produced by Rebecca Huntley. The film’s co-director is Stephanie Ma Stine. In 2008, the franchise’s first installment, the Oscar-nominated Kung Fu Panda, became DreamWorks Animation’s highest-grossing original animated film and kicked off a franchise that it earned more than $1.8 billion at the worldwide box office.
