With the most recent restyling, a wireless charger for smartphones, a 7” touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a rear view camera were introduced. The shapes of the interiors, in particular, have not changed much compared to the past. However, it is enough to take a quick look at the plastics and couplings to touch an increased level of perceived general quality.

While awaiting the new generation, today those interested in this successful city car can choose from six different trim levels: Silver, Silver Plus, Gold, Gold Plus, Ecochic GPL e Alberta Ferretti. The entry level trim level to the range, the Silver, already offers various standard elements which include: manual climate control, set of 15” wheel trims, headlights with LED DRL, radio with DAB+ and steering wheel controls, ABS, EBD, ESC with Hill Holder, driver, passenger and side airbags, split rear seat, height-adjustable driver’s seat and height-adjustable steering wheel.

In terms of performance, the 70 HP Hybrid Ecochic 1.0 engine can reach a maximum speed of 163 km/h with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 14.2 seconds. In this case, it is available with front-wheel drive and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Aesthetically, the hybrid Ypsilon has the same classic lines as the model, with the characteristic rounded shapes and successful color combinations, which increase the sensation of exclusivity perceived on board.

In short, while waiting for the new Lancia Ypsilon, the hybrid version could be an excellent compromise solution. Sophisticated in design, the car convinces even years after its release on the market and the hybrid unit allows significant savings in running costs. Finally, despite the really compact dimensions (3840 mm long, 1680 mm wide, 1550 mm high and 2390 mm wheelbase), inside you can enjoy plenty of space to always travel in maximum comfort.
