The D’Innocenzo brothers for their third film, have chosen an exceptional cast, which sees as actors: helium German, Astrid Casali, Sara Ciocca, Maurizio Lastrico, Carlotta Gamba, Federica Pala, Filippo Dini, and the huge participation of Massimo Wertmüller.
America Latina, tells the story of Massimo Sisti, protagonist of the film, who is the owner of a dental practice that bears his name. Massimo is an absolutely professional man, very kind, calm, sweet, selfless, good, and honest. Having everything it could want from life, but truly everything.
Massimo has an immense villa in a quiet city, and above all a beautiful family that he loves unconditionally, who accompanies him throughout his life, in the days, weeks, months and years. The wife is called Alessandra, and the daughters are Laura and Ilenia. Laura is the first and is a teenager, Ilenia is the second child, pre-adolescent. The three Sisti women, for Massimo, are everything for him, his greatest reason for living.
His happiness, his reward for an existence lived in honesty, fairness and in the most transparent and limpid respect possible. So things couldn’t get better than this, until, in one spring, (obviously in the one of the film), he breaks into Massimo’s life. the unpredictable, that is: Massimo on a day like any other, goes down to the cellar and the absurd, in the true sense of the word, it takes possession of his life.
