Lenovo announces ThinkPad P16, the new mobile workstation

Lenovo launches its new workstation portatile ThinkPad P16, capable of handling any workload even on the move. Even the most demanding professionals will be able to harness the power of this laptop, capable of handling complex rendering and mixed reality simulations for developers.

Lenovo has aimed to create a workstation capable of optimal performance, without sacrificing the aesthetic aspect. The storm-gray colorway with the red accent on the back has a refined design, the compact yet powerful chassis. Rob Herman, Vice President Workstation and Client AI Business Unit explains: “The elegance of the new ThinkPad P16 matches well with the extreme power within it, a complete package that offers the technology needed to tackle even the most intense workflows, whether at home, on the road or in the office” .

But the style doesn’t compromise thermal management. Indeed you find two fans, heat pipes, a double vapor chamber, a keyboard vent and a double by-pass design. Your workstation will stay cool and quiet no matter the workload.

The new display from 16 inches (also available OLED touch) has blue light reduction and a 16:10 ratio for maximum productivity. You will also find a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button, an FHD webcam, and the Wi-Fi 6E1 e al 4G LTE optional.

The power is then ensured by the new ones Intel 12th generation HX CPU, the industry’s first 55W processor. Plus the GPU is NVIDIA RTX™ A5500 con 16 GB of dedicated memory, capable of handling any load. It also takes advantage of the mindfula DDR5 fino a 128GB, con 8TB SSD storage.

Safety is also excellent, which meets standards MIL-SPEC. In addition, to respect the environment the series is made with 30% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCC) in the speaker enclosure and 97% PCC in the battery pack enclosure.
