The new Director of Design
Starting from 11 May, David Durand is the Design Director of the Dacia brand. B takes over from Miles Nurnbergerwho leaves the company for personal reasons and to pursue other professional projects.
David Durand
David Durand is 49 years old and graduated from the Strate Collège Design College in Paris. His career began within the Renault Group in 1997 in exterior design. In 1999, he worked on the Koleos concept car and, in 2002, the Ellipse.
And then again, from 2002 to 2009, David Durand worked in the satellite design centers of Barcelona (Spain), Seoul (South Korea) and São Paulo (Brazil). With these international experiences behind him, in 2011 he was appointed Director of the Global Access Design Range and contributes to the Design-to-Cost and the success of the Dacia brand. In 2020, David Durand becomes Dacia’s Director of Exterior Design and contributes, in particular, to the design of the Bigster Concept, which embodies the evolution of the brand.
Finally, a few days ago, David Durand became Director of Design for the Dacia Brand, joining the Management Committee of the Dacia and LADA Business Units.
