LG Electronics (LG) Expands Cloud Gaming Experience to Its 2023 TVs by Adding 4K Support for NVIDIA GeForce NOW in Over Eighty Countries and Launching Popular Boosteroid Service in Over Sixty Countries

I new services strengthen the cloud gaming offer of LG TVsalready enriched by the arrival of Blacknut and Utomik in 2022.

LG TV 2023 HERE COMES THE 4K 60FPS

Owners of LG 2023 Collection TVs will now be able to play GeForce NOW in 4K at 60fps without the need to download or install additional software or hardware devices. GeForce NOW is currently available on LG TVs (2020-2022 models) running webOS 5.0 and later in Full HD at 60fps, with support for the 4K service coming later to select 2022 TVs as well. on the NVIDIA service – including Cyberpunk 2077, No Man’s Sky and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – will become even more realistic and immersive when played in the stunning 4K resolution of LG’s premium TVs.

Another novelty concerns the integration into LG TVs of Boosteroid, the largest independent cloud gaming service in the worldwith four million users.

By simply logging into their Boosteroid account, owners of an LG TV (models from 2021 to 2023 running webOS 6.0 and above) will be able to access hundreds of PC video games, including some of the world’s most popular triple-A titles, without the need of a console or set-top box. With 18 server sites around the world (including one in Italy), the service offers a reliable and smooth gameplay in 1080p at 60fps and guarantees hours of interactive and immersive fun.

Also, this year, owners of LG TV will be able to count on even more cloud gaming services, including Amazon Luna.

In addition to the wide range of cloud gaming services, LG TVs offer ease of use and performance that make them the perfect attachments for gamers.

The webOS 2023 operating system, for example, makes available in a manner simple and fast cloud gaming services thanks to the Game Quick Card, which allows you to access services such as GeForce NOW, Utomik, Blacknut, Boosteroid, Twitch and YouTube directly from the home screen.
On OLED TVs in particular, the 0.1 millisecond response time and extremely low input lag make for an incredibly smooth gaming experience.

With the Game Optimizer function, available on the entire range of LG TVs starting from 2021 including QNED and UHD ones, the most demanding gamers can take advantage of the various display presets based on the game genre, in order to improve their performance .

LG will continue to collaborate with major players in the gaming market to offer an ever-growing range of cloud gaming services to suit different interests, while continuing to develop gaming features on its outstanding TVs.
